# Olo launches food ordering without menu markups

## What happened

Olo has launched a US food-ordering app that promises restaurant menu prices without a hidden markup. The platform charges a 5% fee per order.

## Why it matters

Delivery may cost extra, and restaurant choice varies by area. Still, the model makes the platform fee visible instead of burying it in the price of a meal.
